When you delete a Context all the tasks that are under the Context you are deleting need to be assigned a new Context. I have been asked why we ask for a new Context even though the number of tasks for the Context being deleted is zero. This is a good question. The answer is really quite simple. The number of tasks shown on the Manage Contexts page is the number of tasks that are active and does not include Completed tasks. You may have Completed tasks that have been assigned to that Context and the system needs to assign a new Context to ALL of the tasks including Completed tasks.
I hope this explanation will clear up any confusion.
