The mobile site's pretty good. A couple things though:

1) On the mobile site, I can't switch between contexts. 
2) When I log on, it goes right to my 'Personal' context; it'd be nice to see a feature that enables me to set a custom 'home screen' view (hotlist, personal, school, work, or one of my custom contexts).

You should be able to change Contexts on the Mobile version. That feature was implemented about a week ago. Try it again and if you still have problems let us know.

Currently, the default Context will be the Context which has the most tasks. This was done arbitrarily. We have a few ideas about changing this behavior in the future. The first is to remember the last Context that you viewed and use that the next time. The other option is to allow you to choose the default Context in your profile. Let us know your thoughts.

The new version of the mobile site is up and running. All the features you mentioned are now included.
