User Manual - View Tasks
View Tasks
There are a number of convenient ways to view your tasks:
"View Tasks" is a group of tabs that will allow you to view your tasks in a number of ways. To select a view simply click on the tab. The current view is highlighted and as you can see you are currently viewing the Hot List. Note that next to each grouping it tells you how many tasks there are in that group. For example "My Tasks (1 Task)" Tells you that you are viewing "My Tasks" and there is a total of 1 Task under "My Tasks".

Hot List
The Hot List is a view of your tasks in order of Importance. Importance is assigned automatically and is based on the task's Priority and Due Date. The Host List is an important view because it tells you what is most important right now. Items at the top are most important; those lower on the list are less important. Note the header
"Importance:8 (1 task)" tells you that there is 1 task with an importance of 8.
When viewing your tasks it is important to remember your Context. The Context was assigned to each task when it was created. We chose "Work"as the Context for our first task. If you are at work then most likely you would want to view only tasks related to work. To do this simply click on the Context drop-down list:
The same applies to other Contexts. If you wish to view tasks from all Contexts simply select "All".
By clicking "Manage Contexts " you can add, delete, and rename Contexts. Note: The Managing Contexts feature is not available in the Community Edition. If you do not have this feature you must upgrade to the
Premium Edition or the
Professional Edition of Task101. To learn more about Contexts

Recently Updated
The Recently Updated view shows you items which have been changed in the last day. It included completed items which would no longer show on your other lists.
Inbox
The Inbox is used primarily when you are working with other Task101 users. If another user
Delegates or
reassigns a task to you it will show in your Inbox. Tasks in your Inbox remain there until you take the appropriate action. We will discuss this further when we get to Collaborating with others.
Outbox
The Outbox is used when working with other Task101 users. If you
delegate or
reassign a task to another user it will be placed in your Outbox until that user accepts the task. We will discuss this further when we get to Collaborating with others.
